How to Add an Order

Applicable to: Tailor, Salaried Agent, Freelance Agent.

Add a New Order

  • Navigate to Orders via the left menu.
  • Click the “+ Add Order” button.

Customer Selection & Measurement Check

  • Select Customer: Start typing the customer’s name in the search box.
  • If found: Select the existing profile.
  • If not found: Click "Add new" to create a customer profile in a pop-up window without leaving the order screen.
  • Verify Measurements:
  • Existing Client: Ensure measurements are up to date by clicking the "View/Add Measurements" button next to their name.
  • New Client: The system will automatically guide you to the measurement entry step to ensure no order is placed without data.

Order Settings

  • Order Currency: Select the currency for this specific transaction (useful for agents traveling to different countries).
  • Shipping Destination: Define where the final product should be sent:
  • Customer Address
  • Agent Address
  • Custom Address
  • Shipping not needed (Pickup)

Adding Products

Click Add Product to add a product. This opens the Product Configuration Pop-up.

  • Select Product Type: Choose from Men's Suit, Jacket, Trousers, Shirt, or Other Product.
  • Note on "Other Product": This is a catch-all category for non-configurable items (ties, socks, shoes, collar stays, etc.).
  • Configuration: Fill in the required fields based on the type.
  • Select Manufacturer: Start typing the manufacturer’s name in the search box.
  • If found: Select the existing manufacturer.
  • If not found and the user is the tailor (admin): Click "Add new" to create the manufacturer in the system and assign the pricing structure in a pop-up window without leaving the order screen.
  • Select Fabric: Choose from the existing list OR add a fabric on the fly by taking/uploading a photo (if permissions allow).
  • Fill in product specific details: Lining, Style, Lapels, Cuffs, Pockets, Vents, etc
  • Monogram: Add text and position (optional).
  • Pricing & Quantity: Define the unit price and quantity.
  • Price Toggle: Use the toggle to view indicative Manufacturing Cost vs. Customer Price (visibility depends on your user settings defined by the Tailor (admin)).
  • Visuals & Notes:
  • Add pictures and attach specific notes to them (e.g., upload a photo of a specific style feature for the back-office to replicate).
  • Add a generic text note for the order.

Repeat Step 4 to add more item to the same order

Review & Payment

Save the order as a Draft or click Complete Order.

When you are ready to complete an order, by clicking “complete” Button in the Order page, you will be guided to the completion process via pop-up.
